Status The governance Structures in this HIA are fully developed. A framework Agreement amongst Forestry Commission, Ghana Cocobod and the Hotspot Management Board has been signed. Some Partners have signed an addendum to support the signed Framework Agreement. |
Main Activities: Currently, there is one project ongoing in the HIA. The Project is called Partnership for Productivity Protection and Resilience in Cocoa Landscapes. Establishment of Rural Service Centers to guide farmers on the right inputs to apply in their farmlands. Supply of shade trees to farmers to plant in Cocoa farms. Training of stakeholders on REDD+ safeguards tools (ESMF, SESA). |
